Job Description
This position requires 2 hours/day, preferably in the morning hours of 9:00 am
- 11:00am at the student's home.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver customized 1:1 lessons tailored to the student's specific learning pace, style, and goals. Create lessons, design modifications, and track progress relative to established IEP goals and benchmarks.
Use multi-sensory approaches, specialized literacy and math approaches, and/or assistive technology to engage the learner.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates, and share strategies.
Progress Monitoring:
Keep accurate logs of sessions, track behavioral and academic milestones, and adjust teaching methods in real time. Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Certification:
Valid teaching credential or special education license is preferred.
Experience:
Prior background working with diverse learners, including students with autism.
