Assistant Superintendent/Director of Student Services

Overview

Danvers Public Schools seeks qualified Reading and/or Math Tutors to provide specialized academic support to eligible parentally placed private school students with disabilities through the district's IDEA equitable services program. The tutor will provide targeted reading and/or mathematics instruction consistent with the services determined through the district's equitable services process. Services will be designed to address identified student needs and will be delivered in collaboration with Danvers Public Schools and participating private school personnel during normal school hours.

Terms of Employment

This is a grant-funded position supported through IDEA proportionate share/equitable services funding for parentally placed private school students with disabilities. Hours, assignments, and continuation of the position are contingent upon student needs, the district's equitable services plan, and the availability of IDEA funds. The tutor will be employed, supervised, and evaluated by Danvers Public Schools. Services will be provided in accordance with the district's IDEA equitable services procedures and in coordination with participating private schools.

Job Description

Danvers Public Schools seeks qualified Reading and/or Math Tutors to provide specialized academic support to eligible parentally placed private school students with disabilities through the district's IDEA equitable services program. The tutor will provide targeted reading and/or mathematics instruction consistent with the services determined through the district's equitable services process.

Services will be provided on-site at participating private schools in Danvers during normal school hours and will be designed to address identified student needs. Tutors will collaborate with Danvers Public Schools staff and participating private school personnel to support the effective delivery of services.

$55 to $65 Per Hour
