Job Description

Demonstrate a strong desire to work with students with Special NeedsImplement individualized ABA programs and behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBAProvide direct 1:1 or small-group instruction to support students in the development of communication, social, academic, and self-care skillsUtilize reinforcement strategies and data-driven techniques to encourage positive behavior.

Collect, record, and summarize data on student progress and behavior throughout sessionsParticipate in regular team meetings and training sessions to review data and adjust programmingSupport students during transitions, mealtimes, and classroom activities as neededCollaborate with teachers and therapists to support carryover of skills across settingsMaintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment at all times Adhere to all district and special education policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or 504 PlanTutors within the New England Center for Children (NECC) programs are required to work the Extended School Year Program in addition to the school year
