POSITION
Title I Tutor's (Title I grant-funded to June 2027)
REPORTS TO
:
Title I Director and Building Principal SALARY:
$25.00 per hour
LOCATION
Center Elementary School HOURS:
19.5 hours per week, until the end of the FY'27 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferably in education (minimum) Excellent interpersonal and collaborative problem solving skills. Successful prior experience working with general education students. Knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning and the ability to apply these practices. Ability to plan student lessons and work independently with individuals and groups. Commitment to the District's goals & school improvement plan goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Using prepared lesson plans, instruct at-risk individuals or small groups of students within the regular classroom and occasionally other settings. Facilitate the instructional programs of all assigned students under the supervision of the classroom teacher, Title I Director and Building Principal. Document student performance and progress in collaboration with the classroom teachers and/or the student's individual program requirements. Plan appropriate instructional activities and administer assessments in collaboration with classroom teachers. Meet regularly with other staff members and classroom teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary programs and activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal or designee.
