Sep 9, 2026 Job Description The Math Interventionist will: Assess and provide student interventions during the school day. Assist teachers in using and analyzing data and student work to create appropriate learning groups and to inform instruction. Support and train staff in using appropriate math assessments and interventions. Support staff with the ongoing implementation and pacing of the district math curriculum programming. Model best practices lessons which use math-based learning strategies. Coach teachers on how to enhance students' math skills. Assist teachers with planning, sequencing, scaffolding, and differentiation of math instruction. Participate in team meetings concerning academic progress of at-risk students who are not responding to interventions. Assist with the development of special instructional programs for students identified as below proficient in math. Devise and maintain such records and reports as are necessary to the successful execution of the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold Massachusetts Certification in Mathematics, Elementary Education and/or Special Education. Must have 3+ years of experience teaching in public schools with an emphasis in Mathematics. Must be familiar with current mathematic assessment systems and with analyzing data. Must have familiarity with Massachusetts Mathematics Frameworks and content expectations. Suggested familiarity with a variety of math curriculum programs.

$45.00/hour
