Create and maintain a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to learning. Provide academic assistance for students to develop skills and concepts in math, ELA, science, social studies, and other content areas.
Provide one-to-one or small group instruction.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with students of varying backgrounds and levels of need. Collaborate with teachers and supervisors to determine strategies to increase student achievement.
Monitor student progress.
Be familiar with Google Platform and applications, especially Google Classroom.
Assist content area teachers in implementing and following student-learning plans.
Any other duties as assigned by the building principal or Superintendent of schools.

Under the direction of authorized administrators, the tutor shall: Help to facilitate the day to day operations of the WHS Tutoring Center.Create and maintain a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to learning.
