In this role, you will contribute to that mission by providing academic support that meets students w they are and helps them continue to grow.As a Tutor, you will play an important part in helping students develop skills, build confidence, and make measurable progress toward their learning goals. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one academic support tailored to each student's learning needs
- Develop lesson plans and practice materials aligned with student goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction strategies as needed
- Communicate with parents or guardians about performance and improvement areas
- Create an encouraging learning environment that builds confidence and engagementRequirements
- Experience supporting learners with intellectual or developmental disabilities or similar learning-support needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student learning styles and performance.
- Strong lesson planning and student progress tracking skills for individualized instruction.
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents or guardians, and academic staff, including the ability to provide regular progress updates and discuss improvement areas with sensitivity.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- 2+ years of tutoring experience across mixed student levels is a plus.
- Experience tutoring a mix of academic subjects is a plus.
