Job Description

High-Level Math Tutor - Part-Time We are seeking an experienced and dependable High-Level Math Tutor to work with students in an after-school learning center. The ideal candidate should have a strong mathematics background and be comfortable teaching students from Algebra through advanced Calculus, including differentiation and integration . Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group math support. Assist students with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Clearly explain advanced concepts, particularly differentiation and integration . Review student work, identify errors, and provide guidance when students are struggling. Encourage independent problem-solving and build students' confidence in math. Maintain a positive, patient, and professional learning environment. Qualifications Strong knowledge of high school and college-level mathematics. Must be proficient in Calculus, including differentiation and integration . Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way. Patient, reliable, and comfortable working with middle and high school students. College students or graduates majoring in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

After-school hours We are looking for someone who enjoys mathematics and can confidently support students as they progress from foundational concepts to advanced-level coursework.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
