Position Overview:

We are looking for 5 reliable and committed educators to join our team as daytime tutors for a Washington, DC school partnership, supporting students in grades 6-12 in English Language Arts and Math.

Schedule:

Weekdays during school hours (exact schedule to be determined)

Pay:

$45/hour for instruction, plus additional paid planning and training time

Location:

In-person at a Washington, DC school site This position includes paid background checks, paid travel costs, and all instructional resources provided. Through our school partnerships and one-on-one tutoring, YTT works to reach students who are often furthest from support but need it the most. We are committed to closing the achievement gap and helping all students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Build positive and supportive relationships with students and families Design academic plans for students based on diagnostic data Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in ELA and math Track student progress and provide regular updates to families and YTT staff Communicate promptly and professional Requirements / Qualifications For more information on Requirements/Qualifications, please contact the employer.
