This role provides an opportunity to inspire young learners, strengthen foundational academic skills, and foster a love for learning while supporting students in their academic growth. In this position, instructors will work with small groups of 3-5 students in grades 1-5 , providing targeted instruction in foundational and remedial math and reading skills . Students will be pulled from their classrooms for one-hour sessions during the school day , allowing instructors to provide focused support in a structured and engaging environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for educators, tutors, and individuals passionate about education who want to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys while working in a supportive, collaborative school setting. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong understanding of elementary education principles to help students build confidence and succeed both academically and socially. Responsibilities Provide small-group instruction in math and reading for students in grades 1-5 Deliver engaging, supportive lessons that reinforce foundational academic skills Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence Support students with remedial learning concepts and skill-building activities Track basic student progress and communicate feedback when needed Collaborate with school staff and program coordinators Qualifications Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Background in education, tutoring, child development, or a related field is a plus Strong communication and classroom management skills Passion for helping students grow academically and socially Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic
