Job Description

Administrative Assistant for a tutoring center 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Job description Opportunity to positively impact and change the lives of children! For success, the Assistant Director must have: A 4 year degree 2+ years of teaching experience, working with children. 1 - 2 years of management, customer service, or sales experience is nice to have An enthusiastic, outgoing and team oriented personality Motivation to take the initiative to ensure that a student's time at Huntington is memorable A confident and flexible demeanor Outstanding communication skills The typical day includes, but is not limited to:
  • Greeting parents and students, taking inquiries
  • Scheduling & rescheduling tutoring sessions
  • Sending monthly statements, and collect & enter payments
  • Administer Academic Evaluation for students, grading and entering test results
  • Manage student programs and make adjustment periodically, ensuring students' academic success
  • Schedule conferences with parents, and prepare for the conferences
  • Serve as a backup teacher occasionally when teachers called in sick
  • Assisting in marketing activities to help grow your Center's tutoring and test prep business
  • Training, scheduling and supervising part-time teachers, and administrative assistant
  • Monitoring daily center activities, and help resolve any issue arising

Schedule:
4-6 hour shift, 4 - 5 days for a total of 20-30 hours per week Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Roseville, MN 55113: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
