Encourage. Make a difference. Huntington Learning Center has been helping students succeed for nearly 50 years. We're looking for caring, enthusiastic Elementary Tutors to help students in grades K-5 build strong academic skills, confidence, and motivation. Enjoy the best parts of teaching without taking work home. You'll work one-on-one or in small groups of 2-4 students, using Huntington's proven curriculum and individualized student programs. No lesson plans to create, no homework to grade, and no work to take home —just the opportunity to focus on teaching and helping each student grow. What You'll Do Teach elementary students in reading, phonics, vocabulary, writing, and math. Work with students individually or in small groups of 2-4. Provide encouragement and individualized support based on each student's needs. Build students' academic skills, confidence, and motivation. Participate in paid training to learn Huntington's teaching methods and curriculum. 9:00 AM-3:00 PM What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required . Teaching, tutoring, classroom, or other experience working with children preferred. Teaching certification/license is a plus, but not required . Patient, encouraging, dependable, and professional. Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help children succeed. We'd love to hear from teachers, paraprofessionals, education graduates, tutors, retired educators, and other professionals who enjoy working with elementary students.
