Mathnasium of Butler (Butler Plaza on Route 23) is hiring reliable tutors who take pride in helping students understand math concepts and build confidence. This position is best suited for students in education or STEM fields, retired teachers, or professionals who genuinely like teaching in a structured, in-person environment. What You'll Do Teach students in-center using the Mathnasium Method™ (no lesson planning required) Work with students individually and in small groups across grades K-12 Evaluate student understanding and adjust instruction as needed Learn and apply Mathnasium's proven materials and teaching approach Contribute to a focused, positive, and professional learning environment What We're Looking For Strong math skills through at least Geometry (Algebra II or higher preferred) Reliable, patient, and upbeat communicator who enjoys working with kids Must live within roughly 10 miles of Butler NJ Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus, but not required — paid training provided Why Join Mathnasium of Butler $16-$20 per hour , based on experience and performance Paid training and ongoing professional development Consistent scheduling and a supportive local team environment Ideal for education or STEM majors, substitute teachers, or professionals who genuinely enjoy teaching math Mathnasium of Butler is independently owned and operated.
