PM Additional Details :

The client is a 27-year-old student with a learning disability, who is beginning a TA-to-Teacher Program at Ramapo College this fall. His fall classes include Elementary Math and Literacy courses. He is looking for support with classwork, understanding course material, and test preparation. Someone with experience in a teacher education program would be ideal . He is currently working as a paraprofessional and has been in the role for about 2.5 years.

Requirements:

Teacher's education program experience preferred Comfortable supporting students across multiple college-level subjects Reinforce course concepts and problem-solving strategies Assist with coursework, assignments, and test preparation as needed Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Patient, reliable, encouraging, and able to build positive rapport Ability to provide individualized instruction and explain concepts clearly Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the student, family, and Actual Solutions Tutoring team Reliable transportation to in-person session locations Why join us?
