Job Description

Tutor Doctor is a locally owned tutoring company that has been serving families in our community for over 15 years. We provide personalized, one-to-one tutoring in students' homes and help match tutors with students based on subject expertise, personality, and availability. We are currently seeking experienced math tutors who are comfortable supporting students in Algebra l/II, Pre-Calculus, and ideally up Calculus and Physics! What You'll Do Provide one-on-one tutoring for high school math students Support students with homework, test preparation, and foundational understanding Build confidence and strong study habits Communicate progress and session notes through our online platform Subjects Needed Algebra l/II Geometry Pre-Calculus Calculus Physics Qualifications Strong proficiency in high school math subjects Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred Bachelor's degree (or current college student majoring in a related field) Reliable transportation to travel to students in the Ridgewood and surrounding areas Patient, encouraging, and dependable Why Tutors Enjoy Working With Us Flexible scheduling that works around your availability Competitive hourly pay Supportive local team and consistent communication If you enjoy helping students succeed in math and want a flexible, rewarding tutoring opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
