Part-Time STEM Tutor Tutor Doctor of North Jersey Ridgewood, NJ Job Details Part-time $25 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Tutoring Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is hiring dependable, knowledgeable STEM tutors to provide personalized, one-to-one academic support in math, science, and related subjects to students across a variety of grade levels. This is a part-time, supplemental opportunity ideal for tutors who enjoy flexible hours, meaningful work, and building consistent relationships with students.
Subjects may include:
Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, and general science/math support. Responsibilities Provide individualized, in-home tutoring tailored to each student's needs in STEM subjects Support homework completion, skill development, and subject mastery Communicate student progress and goals with parents Collaborate with the Tutor Doctor team regarding student needs and scheduling Submit clear and timely session reports after each tutoring session Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (or related coursework) preferred Prior tutoring, teaching, or academic support experience in math or science preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation for in-home sessions Ability to commit to at least one academic semester What We Offer Flexible after-school scheduling Competitive compensation Ongoing support from a local team Long-term student placements
