JOB SUMMARY
The Stillman School of Business is seeking graduate students to serve as peer tutors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Peer tutors will work with students in selected graduate business courses, in both individual and drop-in evening tutoring sessions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
One to one peer tutoring. Tutors serve as a resource to assist other students academically and will serve as important contact for students who are beginning their graduate studies. Tutors will adhere to Seton Hall University policies on academic integrity and community standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be current Seton Hall Graduate students. We are seeking Peer tutors for the following courses:
    BMBA 8008
    • Accounting Pre-Qualifier
    BMBA 8020
    • ITM Pre-Qualifier
    • Software Productivity Tools
    BSAN 7001
    • Introduction to Data Analytics for Business Intelligence Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a high level of responsibility are expected.
    Applicants must have completed at least one semester of a graduate degree program and provide a minimum of 6 hours of availability a week for appointments and/or drop-in sessions. Candidates must have at least a 3.4 Cumulative GPA and strong grades/performance in the class they hope to tutor.
    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Individuals who can tutor in more than one of these courses would be a great asset.
