Math Tutor Genie Academy | Central Jersey (Multiple Centers) About Genie Academy Genie Academy is a K-12 supplemental education company based in New Jersey with centers across Central Jersey, including East Brunswick, Morganville, South Plainfield, Woodbridge, Hillsboro, Iselin, and Long Branch. We teach math, reading, writing, coding, abacus mental math, and SAT prep in small groups of 3-6 students. About the Role We're looking for a part-time Math Tutor to deliver engaging, structured math instruction to K-12 students. You'll work across multiple center locations, teaching foundational through advanced math concepts in our small-group format. Schedule Monday•
Friday:
4:00 PM•8:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM•2:00 PM Responsibilities Deliver math instruction to small groups of K-12 students across grade levels Cover topics ranging from elementary arithmetic through algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus Follow Genie Academy's curriculum and program cycles Maintain an encouraging, structured classroom environment Travel between assigned center locations as needed Requirements Strong math proficiency across multiple grade levels (elementary through high school) Prior tutoring, teaching, or instructional experience preferred Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license (multi-center travel required) Available for the full weekly schedule listed above Committed to completing full program cycles — no mid-cycle departures Patient, clear communicator comfortable working with students of varying skill levels Nice to Have Experience in a small-group or classroom setting Background in education, math, or a related field Familiarity with abacus or mental math programs Compensation Competitive — based on experience
