About the student 5th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with reading. The student is in 5th grade and is currently reading at a 2nd grade level.. The goal is for the student to improve her reading skills as much as possible. The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 5:30pm-7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. (If possible would prefer to not have sessions on Friday.) The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Alamogordo not far from the Jim R Griggs Sports Complex. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring reading. Ideal candidates will be a credentialed teacher. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability
