Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of our tutoring center. This role involves front desk support, administrative coordination, scheduling assistance, and communication with families and teachers. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask effectively and help maintain a professional, efficient, and welcoming learning environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily administrative tasks and front desk operations in a professional and welcoming manner Assist with class scheduling, classroom arrangements, teacher assignments, and schedule changes Track student attendance, absences, makeup classes, and other scheduling updates Respond to parent inquiries via phone, email, WeChat, and other communication channels Support teachers with classroom logistics, materials preparation, and general administrative needs Maintain accurate student records, course information, and other administrative data Assist in organizing workshops, parent meetings, enrollment events, and other on-site activities Manage office supplies, file organization, and routine administrative processes Collaborate closely with academic, instructional, and operations teams Perform other administrative and operational support duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Prior experience in administration, education, tutoring centers, or customer service is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other common office tools Strong customer service mindset, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Experience in K-12 education, after-school programs, or tutoring center operations is a plus Ideal Candidate Highly organized and dependable Proactive and professional in communication Patient, detail-oriented, and service-minded Able to respond quickly and effectively to unexpected situations Comfortable balancing daily routine tasks with changing operational needs Compensation and Sponsorship Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employment-based green card sponsorship may be available for exceptionally qualified candidates.
