About the Role We are seeking an experienced and engaging Elementary ELA Teacher to teach students in Grades K-5. The ideal candidate has experience teaching reading comprehension, structured writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical-thinking skills. This teacher should be able to adapt lessons to different learning needs, maintain a positive and structured classroom, and help students make measurable progress in reading and writing. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging ELA lessons using the center's curriculum and teaching materials Teach reading comprehension, structured writing, grammar, vocabulary, and related literacy skills Adapt instruction based on each student's age, skill level, and learning needs Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Maintain an organized, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment Communicate professionally with parents and center staff about student progress Encourage student participation, confidence, and interest in reading and writing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field Previous experience teaching ELA, reading, or writing to elementary-age students Strong spoken and written English Effective classroom-management and student-engagement skills Patient, dependable, and able to work with students at different learning levels Experience in a school, tutoring center, learning center, or enrichment program is preferredCenter Hours Monday-Friday:
4:00 PM-7:00PM Saturday-Sunday:
9:00 AM-5:00 PM This is an urgent opening. Applicants must be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule that includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday .Job Types:
