Quick Role Summary As a Math Instructor , you will work directly with students in a supportive learning center environment, providing one-to-one and small-group math instruction. You'll motivate students, celebrate progress, and help each child build confidence and academic success. What We Offer (Benefits) $16.00 per hour starting pay Paid training — no teaching experience required Flexible part-time schedule Supportive and positive team environment Opportunities for promotion and leadership development Work that is meaningful and makes a difference in kids' lives Multi-center growth opportunities for high-performing instructors and teachers Responsibilities Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group math instruction as a Math Instructor Create a welcoming, encouraging learning environment for students and families Help students build confidence, motivation, and strong math skills Follow Mathnasium's teaching and instructional methods (full training provided) Track and communicate student progress to Center Managers and team members Support daily center operations and classroom flow Work collaboratively with other instructors, teachers, and center leadership Requirements Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality Ability to connect with both children and parents Reliable and able to work afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts Interest in working with kids in an instructor, tutor, or teacher role Experience with children is preferred but not required Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours. Most shifts are in the afternoon, evenings, and weekends . We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us through the school year.
