Preference to candidates who can teach chemistry, biology, stats or computer science as well. No prior teaching experience is needed as we provide comprehensive paid training. However, applicants should have a strong background in STEM. We love hiring confident, dynamic and responsive people who can inspire our students to do their best! Sessions will typically be by zoom, but some travel within the city may be requested on a case-by-case basis. We ask tutors to set aside Sundays for tutoring, in addition to other days they may be available. The base rate for tutors is $52.5-57.5 per hour in the first year, with raises based on experience with the company. In addition, we offer the following perks:
