SUMMARY Works directly with students, providing academic tutorial assistance in support of the material taught in mathematics classes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports the department's goal of providing students with supplemental academic support by:- Provides one-to-one and small-group tutoring
- Develop and implements non-credit workshops
- Conducts "class visits" and assists with publicizing services
- Assists with the maintenance of records
- Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and according to stated deadlines
- Assists with the development and maintenance of departmental instructional materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Associate's in a field commensurate with needs of the department.
