Responsibilities Develop and implement customized lesson plans in mathematics and English language arts aligned with curriculum standards for grades 3-5 Utilize various learning technologies and digital resources to enhance online instruction and student engagement Assess individual student needs, learning styles, and progress to adapt teaching methods accordingly Provide clear explanations of mathematical concepts, reading comprehension strategies, writing skills, and language development techniques Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, questions, and collaborative learning Manage virtual or in-person classroom environments with effective classroom management skills Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements Incorporate special education strategies when working with students requiring additional support or accommodations Prepare students for standardized assessments such as the SAT by integrating test preparation techniques into lessons when appropriate Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress reports, and instructional activities Experience Prior experience teaching math and English language arts at the elementary level or similar educational settings Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content tailored to diverse learners' needs Experience working with children from various cultural backgrounds and with different learning abilities Familiarity with online instruction platforms and digital learning tools for remote tutoring sessions Knowledge of instructional adaptability techniques to support students with special education needs or unique learning styles Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues Classroom management experience in either traditional or virtual environments is preferred Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Part-Time Elementary Math & English Tutor to empower young learners through engaging instruction, personalized support, and innovative teaching methods. Pay:

$25.81 - $35.08 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 40.0 per week
