Header Overview Join our vibrant Learning Center as a Part-Time Math Tutor and ignite a passion for mathematics among students of all ages! Duties Deliver engaging one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in math topics including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, differential equations, and discrete math. Provide instruction in science subjects such as chemistry (organic, biochemistry, chemical engineering), biology (microbiology, genetics, anatomy), and physiology to diversify learning opportunities. Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals. Utilize learning technology tools and online instruction platforms to facilitate interactive lessons and track student progress effectively. Prepare students for standardized tests and exams through targeted test preparation tutoring strategies. Manage classroom dynamics with effective classroom management techniques suited for children, teenagers, and adult learners. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring or teaching math and science subjects at various educational levels, including higher education or adult education settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies across diverse STEM disciplines. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction tools to enhance remote teaching experiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning needs—including children with special education requirements. Excellent communication skills coupled with patience and enthusiasm for teaching complex concepts such as trigonometry, calculus, data structures, machine learning basics, organic chemistry, microbiology, genetics, anatomy knowledge, electrical engineering principles, or chemical engineering topics. Ability to manage classroom environments confidently while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Computer skills necessary for creating instructional materials and maintaining student records efficiently.
