The student grew up around family members who were fluent Sicilian speakers, so she has some familiarity with the language. The family would like the tutor to encourage student to practice and study independently between sessions to help reinforce what she is learning and prepare for upcoming sessions. The student's goal is to develop her language skills and become conversational in proper Italian and Sicilian. The student is seeking 1-hour sessions once per week during her availability: Monday & Tuesday from 6:00 pm

The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at her family's home in Mentor. Qualifications You have experience working with adult learners. You have experience working with individuals with disabilities. You have experience tutoring/teaching Italian. You have experience tutoring/teaching Sicilian. You are fluent in Italian. You are fluent in Sicilian. You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles). Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
