Job Description

The Math & Science Tutor will support HEP students in preparing for high school equivalency exams by providing individualized and group instruction in key math and science concepts. The tutor will work closely with HEP staff to tailor teaching strategies to student needs, ensuring effective and meaningful learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tutoring in math and science for HEP students. Assess students' learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly. Prepare educational materials and practice activities. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic progress. Collaborate with HEP staff to enhance program effectiveness.
Requirements:
Experience in teaching or tutoring math and science (preferably at secondary or equivalency level). Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills. Ability to motivate and support students with diverse learning styles. Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to student success. Open until filled.
