  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking a dedicated and engaging
  • General Education Teacher
  • to deliver high-quality instruction in
  • Geometry and Calculus
  • to students in grades
  • 7-12
  • . This role involves implementing existing instructional plans, maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment, and fostering strong relationships with students, families, and school staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics education, confident in classroom management, and committed to supporting student growth in a collaborative school community.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Implement daily instructional plans provided by the classroom teacher or district curriculum.
+ Create and maintain a learning environment that promotes academic success, personal growth, and respectful behavior. + Deliver engaging instruction to small class sizes (approximately 15-18 students). + Collaborate effectively with building administrators, teachers, and support staff. + Establish rapport with students and maintain appropriate classroom management. + Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, administrators, and staff as needed. + Work alongside Special Education Instructional Assistants when present in the classroom. + Ensure student safety, well-being, and academic progress throughout the school day. + Comply with all district, state, and federal educational standards and professional practices.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • + Bachelor's Degree or higher.
+ Valid teaching license or certification, as required by state or district. + One year of teaching experience preferred. + Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for student safety, well-being, and learning outcomes. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to read and implement instructional plans and respond effectively to questions from students, parents, and administration. + Comfort working with basic and advanced mathematical concepts. + Compliance with all professional and ethical standards of practice. + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as applicable). + Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulation. + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
