Gannon University's GO College program in the Erie School District is seeking tutors/mentors to assist/work with our two summer week-long programs for rising freshman and seniors during the weeks of June 22
• 26th and July 20th
• 23th.

Programming runs from 8:30-3:00 daily and occurs predominantly on Gannon's campus, with a regional trip scheduled for the last day of camp. Camp preparation hours prior to the weeks are also available. GO College is a federally funded college access program.

Duties include:

Leading students to various activities on campus. Leading ice-breakers. Providing leadership, direction, and correction to students. Engaging students with instructions and providing a positive mentoring presence. Provide mentoring to students and encourage them to make smart decisions Required Qualifications Ability to obtain clearances (criminal, FBI , child-abuse). Ability to effectively communicate with high school students. Must have a leadership/mentoring persona with an ability to connect with and engage with high school students. Outgoing personality and ability to work with a variety of personalities, cultures, and learning abilities Preferred Qualifications Previous experience tutoring/mentoring in a middle school and/or high school. Availability during the two specified weeks.
