Job Description
Adjunct Faculty - School of Nursing, Didactic Tutor The Westminster College School of Nursing is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to provide academic support to pre-licensed nursing students through weekly evening didactic tutoring sessions. The tutoring session may include skills practice or a brief simulation scenario when appropriate with the assistance of the simulation lab manager. The 15-week sessions will be held weekly in the fall and spring semesters.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate one evening per week of structural didactic tutoring to reinforce nursing content.
- Develop engaging learning activities to promote clinical reasoning, and NCLEX style testing strategies.
- Facilitate short simulation scenarios with the Simulation Lab Manager, to coincide with tutoring sessions when applicable.
- Maintain accurate attendance of tutoring sessions.
