Pittsburgh Tutor is seeking K-3 reading tutors for the '26/'27 school year. A firm commitment for the duration of the school year is required. Only candidates looking to work in-person should apply. All sessions take place at our office in Regent Square. Potential for employment to extend into summer. Monday and Wednesday after school hours beginning at 4/4:30. Saturday availability is a plus, but not required. Candidates must have formal teaching experience in reading instruction. Comfortability with parents and children, and confidence in written and verbal communication are musts. Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree (at minimum). Punctuality and dependability are of paramount importance. Sessions are one-on-one. All materials and paid training are provided. No prep for sessions required. Hours depend on client need. This is supplemental pay. All candidates must have (or be willing to obtain) current Pennsylvania clearances (child abuse, FBI fingerprinting, criminal history check).

Pay:

$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 12.0 per week
