Job Description
Looking to add a dynamic academic coach to our team who brings a passion and background in teaching and 1-1 coaching. At first they will primarily specialize in supporting our high school students in their quests to get into great schools throughout the country. Coaches will be tutoring and guiding students through challenging high school course loads, AP classes, and ACT/SAT prep. Priority is hiring a coach whose skill set is robust enough to also support our college prep students and our younger middle school students as necessary. The person hired for this position will be on the fast track to senior coach promotion as long as everything goes smoothly. Looking for new coaches who starting out would like to have 10-20 hours of sessions weekly and can work primarily in-person at our offices in Raleigh. However, ideal candidate will be able to grow into a full time role 25-30 hours of sessions weekly. During the academic school year you need to be available when our high school students are - after school and one of Saturday or Sunday. During the summer there is more flexibility to set a different schedule. Our coaches have diverse backgrounds, but each one is an enthusiastic coach who is motivated by seeing their students thrive. Must have a college degree, reliable transportation, and live within 45 minutes of our Raleigh offices.
