Private Tutor (Grades 3-12) — Part-Time, In-Person & Virtual in Lilburn and surrounding areas About Us Traveling Tutors is a growing private tutoring business serving students in grades 3-12 across a variety of subjects, including ACT/SAT prep. We work with families both in-person and virtually, and we're expanding our team to keep up with demand this school year. About the Role We're looking for a part-time tutor to work with students grades 3-12 in a range of subjects, both in-person and virtually. Availability between 4-8pm on weekdays is ideal. You'll provide one-on-one instruction tailored to each student's needs, along with session notes and progress updates after each session. Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions (in-person and/or virtual) for students in grades 3-12 Prepare session notes, homework recommendations, and progress updates for parents Communicate professionally and reliably with students and families Maintain consistent availability within the 4pm-8pm window Qualifications Certified teacher preferred Strong math background/skill set Prior tutoring or teaching experience Strong communication skills and reliability Comfortable working with students across a range of ages/subjects Access to reliable transportation for in-person sessions (Lilburn area) and/or a quiet space with reliable internet for virtual sessions Pay & Schedule $25/hr to start Part-time, flexible within the 4-8pm weekday window In-person and virtual sessions available To apply, please respond through this Indeed posting with your resume and a brief note about your tutoring/teaching experience.
