Required Subject:
AP Calculus AB or BC Preferred Subjects:
AP Calculus AB AP Calculus BC AP Biology AP Chemistry AP Physics AP Precalculus AP Statistics Geometry AP European History AP African American Studies AP US History AP World History AP Comparative Government AP Human Geography AP US Government Ability to teach other subjects is a plus: Foreign Language, and other high school subjects. The ability to teach multiple subjects is preferred. Unfortunately, we are unable to hire single-subject or online tutors at this time. Lafayette Academy is looking in person for tutors for high school aged students. Our tutors pride themselves on going beyond just helping with homework and guiding students to "aha" moments by adapting to their unique needs and learning styles. We have 10
  • 30 hours per week available for each tutor. You decide how much (and when) you want to work. We tutor from 2:30
  • 9:30 Monday to Thursday and 9
  • 5 on the weekends. During the summer, we are open Monday through Friday from 9
  • 5. Our wonderful front desk staff will book you in our center or online
  • you will not have to worry about doing your own scheduling!

2) All tutoring takes place either in our Lafayette center. We will provide textbooks and other materials to use during tutoring sessions. Our front desk task takes care of all scheduling. 3) This is a particularly good opportunity for anyone looking for longer-term employment, but we also hire a lot of people on their way to grad school.
