We are looking for an in person tutor for 3 hours/week, but there is the opportunity for online tutoring sessions in addition. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in various ASVAB Military Test subjects. The ideal candidate should have experience working with the Youth and possess expertise in Military ASVAB subjects such as General Science, Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Electronics Information, Mechanical Comprehension, Higher education teaching.
  • Develop personalized lesson plans based on students' individual needs and goals
  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to enhance students' understanding of subject matter
  • Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide constructive feedback to students
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and learning technologies
  • Experience working with the Youth in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
