Calculus Tutor Mind Over Math Wilmington, NC Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 - $27 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Statistics Statistics Experience teaching math Calculus Mathematics Algebra Full Job Description Mind Over Math provides in-person and online tutoring to all age groups, elementary through college. In addition to helping students to improve their grades, we emphasize study habits and accountability so that students can become confident and independent learners. Both part time and full time positions are available. Tutors may choose to work from 10-35 hours per week. Mind Over Math is currently hiring for the following content areas: Statistics Advanced Math (Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, etc)
Physics Job Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students based on your area(s) of expertise. Assess and evaluate student progress, adapting instruction as needed. Provide reports for all tutoring sessions in a timely manner. Communicate promptly with students, parents, director and office staff.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to specialize in one or more of the following areas: mathematics, chemistry, statistics, biology, physics or test prep. A teaching license is not required, but position requires at least 30 semester hours from an accredited university or college. Applications must be submitted through Mind Over Math's employment link.
