Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced French language tutor. A fluent native speaker who can introduce young students/siblings to a new language; Immersion style of teaching/tutoring. In-Home tutoring, NO Online tutoring for these students. Weekday/daytime tutoring required with flexible hours; morning or early afternoons required. 2 hour sessions, twice a week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be able to provide educational and motivational support with engagement skills using kindness, care and patience. One-on-one or small group tutoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent tutoring using positive reinforcement and building self confidence.
• Skilled tutoring, teaching a foreign language to young students.
• Ability to simplify concepts, help build better study habits and organizational skills if needed.
• Help to improve academic performance and praise small victories with a step by step approach.
• Assist students with guidance and understanding of course materials and meeting their individual academic needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree.
• Former teachers/subs are encouraged to apply. A teaching credential is not required.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with students.
• Excellent communication skills with Parents, Students, Company Admin.
• Simplify concepts and adaptability with different student earning styles.
• Basic technical skills for reporting sessions on our tutor platform, writing concise student progress notes, and communicate in a timely manner.
