Job Description

The Institute for Higher Learning is an elite educational consulting firm with offices in Manhattan and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company's website can be found here - www.ihlprep.com. The company is seeking to hire a small number of tutors to provide one-on-one GMAT and/or GRE tutoring and to help develop and deliver group
GMAT/GRE
workshops. The position will primarily involve remote work via videoconference, with some in-person opportunities at our Ann Arbor office. The time commitment varies but is expected to be 3-10 hours per week. In addition to individualized tutoring, this role will include helping to design and implement structured workshop curricula for small-group GMAT and GRE prep sessions. We are looking for tutors who are not only strong test-takers but also comfortable contributing to curriculum development and leading group instruction.
GMAT/GRE
Applicants must be admitted to, attending or a graduate of a top 10 business school or graduate program Scored in 99th percentile on official GMAT or GRE within the past five years (or regularly tutored GMAT and/or GRE if longer than five years) Applicants must have availability to teach in-person sessions in Ann Arbor Applicants who are capable of teaching multiple exams are encouraged to apply. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred. Current graduate / PhD students and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Please submit résumé and cover letter via email. Official transcripts and exam score reports will be requested upon interview. Hourly compensation starting at $65+/hour.
