About A+ Tutoring A+ Tutoring provides personalized in-person and online tutoring services, partnering with families and charter schools to deliver high-quality academic support. Our mission is to help every learner thrive—whether they need intervention, enrichment, or confidence-building. Role Summary We are seeking a flexible, passionate educator to provide in-person, one-on-one instruction in Elementary/Middle school Math, ELA, and Reading . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a wide variety of learners—from gifted to intervention-level . You'll have the freedom to tailor lessons to student needs, while relying on A+ Tutoring's proven framework for engagement and progress tracking. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized instruction in elementary Math, ELA, and Reading. Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs, learning styles, and goals. Align instruction with school/charter standards and family priorities. Maintain detailed session notes and upload student work samples. Communicate consistently with families and A+ staff about progress. Support both enrichment and intervention learners with patience and creativity.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Experience teaching or tutoring at the elementary level. Demonstrated success working with a wide variety of learners—from gifted to intervention-level .
Preferred:
Teaching credential or certification. Experience with charter or homeschool populations. Training in literacy intervention methods (e.g., phonics-based, Orton-Gillingham).
