$30-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Club Z! Tutoring is seeking an experienced Organic Chemistry tutor to work in person with a college student. We are looking for someone with a strong academic background in chemistry who can clearly explain challenging Organic Chemistry concepts, help the student work through problems, and prepare for quizzes and exams. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one online tutoring in college-level Organic Chemistry Explain concepts clearly and patiently Help with problem-solving strategies and course material Review homework and practice problems Help the student prepare for quizzes, midterms, and exams Identify areas where the student is struggling and provide additional practice and explanation Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Pre-Med, or a closely related field Strong knowledge of college-level Organic Chemistry Previous tutoring or teaching experience strongly preferred Ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way Professional, dependable, and responsive Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field Experience as a college instructor, teaching assistant, or Organic Chemistry tutor Experience tutoring Organic Chemistry I and II Familiarity with reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, spectroscopy, synthesis, nomenclature, acids and bases, and other standard undergraduate Organic Chemistry topics
