Duties Deliver comprehensive SAT preparation tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on core areas such as math, writing, and reading comprehension Develop and implement effective lesson plans that incorporate test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and practice exercises Utilize educational technology tools and online tutoring platforms to facilitate interactive learning experiences Provide ACT preparation guidance and support as needed to broaden student readiness for standardized testing Assess student progress regularly through practice tests and adjust instruction accordingly to maximize improvement Foster a positive learning environment by engaging students with clear explanations, motivating feedback, and classroom management skills Collaborate with students to build confidence in their abilities and develop personalized study plans for sustained success Requirements Proven experience in SAT and ACT preparation tutoring with a strong understanding of test formats and scoring methods Prior teaching experience with high schoolers or teenagers, including classroom management and curriculum development skills Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and educational technology integration tools Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and engagingly Strong background in math, English, or writing instruction with a focus on test-taking skills tutoring Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and adapting lessons to meet individual learning styles Demonstrated ability to plan lessons effectively, manage virtual or in-person classrooms, and motivate students toward academic achievement Private tutoring experience or high school teaching experience is highly desirable Join us as an SAT Tutor and play a pivotal role in shaping students' academic journeys!
