Special Education Tutor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Tutor to support students with diverse learning needs . The ideal candidate MUST hold a certification in special education. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their learning experience, utilizing effective teaching strategies and learning technologies tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to engage students effectively. Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to complete work given by the teacher and reinforce concepts taught in the classroom. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed. Qualifications Proven experience and certification in special education with a strong understanding of diverse learning needs. Experience working with children in educational settings; preschool or early childhood education experience is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and administrators. Familiarity with tutoring practices and techniques that promote student engagement and success. Ability to tutor during the school day.
