Teaching Full Job Description Position Overview:

Teach SAT and ACT with clear structure and measurable results. Manage sessions effectively, track student progress, and adjust instruction based on performance. Maintain organization, strong classroom control, and consistent communication.

Responsibilities:

Teach SAT and ACT lessons with clear structure, pacing, and goals Support AP subjects when needed with strong content knowledge Maintain strong classroom management and keep students focused Use an engaging teaching style to hold student attention Assign and review practice sets and full length tests Track student scores and progress and adjust instruction based on results Identify weak areas and provide targeted strategies for improvement Teach test strategies such as timing, accuracy, and question approach Maintain organized records for each student Communicate progress and concerns clearly and in a timely manner Coordinate with team members to align on curriculum and student needs Hold students to high expectations and follow through consistently

Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching or tutoring SAT, ACT, or AP subjects Strong understanding of test content and proven score improvement results Excellent classroom management skills Highly organized and detail oriented Responsible, consistent, and strong follow through Energetic and able to engage students effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

Flexible hours, with preference for evening availability Weekday and weekend sessions may be required

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
