JOB DUTIES
Provide in person and online tutoring and similar academic assistance services to students via multiple platforms Describe test procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations to examinees. Provide online supplemental academic instruction to individual students and small groups. Demonstrate and use technology, audiovisual aids, and other materials (as necessary) to supplement tutoring sessions and presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate group discussions with students. Lead scheduled study groups and workshops. Collaborate with faculty and staff members. Attend initial and ongoing training sessions. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least one year of requisite courses and/or proven mastery of subject(s). BIO, CHE, ENG, ESL, IST, Algebra, Pre-Calc, Statistics Experience using Zoom (the Virtual Tutoring Hub) for drop-in tutoring, and Academic Core Enrichment (ACE) study groups.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associates and/or Bachelors Degree Two (2) or more years experience in higher education Bilingual - Spanish MCCC course professor recommendation.
