10/31/2026 11:59 PM Eastern Class Description The purpose of the part time tutor position is to provide academic support to CCBC students by promoting effective study habits and learning strategies to become independent learners. The tutor position supports student retention and the College's mission to provide support and intervention to eradicate attainment gaps based on income, race, gender, and ethnicity. Salaries are based on education level. Salary Range Depends upon education level . Tutor I- (less than associate degree) $16.62 Tutor II
- (associate degree) $17.85 Tutor III
- (bachelor's degree or above) $19.07 Tutor IV
- (Master's Degree) $21.54 Multiple vacancies available at multiple locations: Catonsville Campus, Dundalk Campus and Essex Campus. Minimum Requirements Tutor I
- Successful completion of nine (9) credits of college-level courses with at least a B average in the course(s) to be tutored and faculty recommendation. Tutor II
- Associate Degree with 3.0 GPA or higher in course (s) to be tutored. Tutor III
- Bachelor's Degree with 3.0 GPA or higher in course (s) to be tutored. Tutor IV
