Job Description

Inquisitive Mind Tutoring is a tutoring consulting firm located in Collierville, TN. Our mission is to increase academic confidence and independence. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ACT tutor to work with students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for teaching and experience working with high school students. The position is part-time and requires consistent availability during afterschool hours.
Requirements :
Current College Student (minimum) Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Minimum 1 year (2 semester) employment commitment Strong knowledge of ACT Test ACT Test score: 28+ (required) Prior experience working with high school students Strong knowledge of high school curriculum and teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment Flexibility and adaptability in response to student needs
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction in various subject areas, including Math, Reading, English, and Science. Assess and monitor student progress regularly Communicate with parents and director to provide updates on student progress Maintain a safe and positive learning environment If you meet the above qualifications and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
