ISEE Prep & K-8 Academic Tutor

Job Overview Thrive Education Partners is seeking experienced, high-level educators and tutors to support upper elementary and middle school students in strengthening foundational academic skills while also preparing for competitive academic environments and admissions testing. We are looking for educators who can confidently support students with skill gaps in areas such as reading comprehension, writing, spelling, executive functioning, and foundational math while also helping students prepare for assessments such as the ISEE and other academic entrance exams. Ideal candidates understand how to balance remediation with confidence-building and long-term academic growth. Many of our students are bright, capable learners who may have learning differences (including dyslexia or ADHD), inconsistent foundational skills, or gaps that need targeted intervention before transitioning into more rigorous academic environments.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Strong experience working with K-8 students in reading, writing, and/or math intervention Experience with students with dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning challenges, or other learning differences Familiarity with structured literacy approaches and/or evidence-based remediation strategies Experience with ISEE prep highly preferred Ability to build strong rapport while maintaining structure, accountability, and momentum Excellent communication skills and professionalism with families Availability for in-person tutoring in the Nashville area What We Value Most We are looking for tutors who are: Warm, engaging, and relational Highly reliable and organized Strong communicators Adaptable thinkers who can personalize instruction Passionate about helping students grow in both skill and confidence

Pay:
