Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor/Interventionist to join our educational team, committed to empowering students to reach their full potential. In this role, you will provide targeted academic support tailored to individual learning needs, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Your expertise will help students improve their skills in core subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and test preparation, including SAT coaching. Responsibilities Deliver personalized tutoring sessions in subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and test preparation, including SAT strategies. Develop and adapt curriculum materials and lesson plans that align with students' unique learning styles and educational goals. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance online instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches to maximize understanding and engagement. Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by applying instructional adaptability and culturally responsive teaching methods. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, maintaining a positive environment conducive to learning for children and adults alike. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to coordinate interventions and track student development. Qualifications Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in academic subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, or science. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional adaptability techniques. Familiarity with learning technology platforms used for online instruction and student engagement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds. Experience working with children, including preschool or early childhood education settings, is highly desirable. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and special education needs.
