Contract Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and knowledgeable Private Tutors to provide individualized academic support to students. Tutors will travel to student homes for one-on-one tutoring sessions. When sessions are not scheduled in-home, tutors will conduct tutoring sessions at the Lone Star College-CyFair Library. Tutors must be able to create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's academic level, learning style, and school curriculum. The goal is to help students strengthen understanding, build confidence, and improve academic performance.
Subjects Needed:
K-12 Math K-12 English /
Language Arts Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring in assigned subjects. Develop and implement individualized material for each student. Travel to student homes for scheduled tutoring sessions. Conduct tutoring sessions at the Lone Star College-CyFair Library when in-home sessions are not scheduled. Track student progress and adjust lessons as needed. Maintain professional communication with the tutoring coordinator.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the subject(s) being taught. Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clients. Strong communication and time-management skills. Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
Schedule:
Flexible part-time hours based on student demand and tutor availability. This position is ideal for someone seeking a long-term role (6 months minimum) and the chance to grow with our team.
